I-20 Wildlife Preserve Visit 06/22/2015
Please join us on our trip to the I-20 Wildlife Preserve. It is time to wipe the dust off of those binoculars, and bring the camera along for an adventure into the abundance that West Texas provides. You may think that I have gone completely crazy, but there have been 224 varieties of birds, 43 butterflies, 26 odonates, 29 plants, 15 reptiles, 6 amphibians, and 2 mammals that have been verified within the preserve. You can see the complete list HERE.
We will be visiting the I-20 Wildlife Preserve on Monday 06/22/2015 from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. We ask that all boys attending be in uniform. We will be making our way through the preserve as a group, and will expect the boys to stay with everyone at all times. There will be games that we will be playing, with prizes that can be won throughout the hike. As with every summer meeting, friends and family are more than welcome to come along. Every scout attending will receive a patch as well.
Please come prepared with any drinks or snacks that you may need during the hike, we will be on the move during the meeting, so make sure you also have a way to carry your items as well.
