The speed of life and Cub Scouting...

So much to do, so little time to do it! As we try and balance our lives with all that is involved in raising children these days we can find ourselves really stressed out! As we are going into the holiday season, take a minute and remember why we do what we do for our kids.

Life may be hectic as we go about all the activities our kids are involved in, but do you know what that means? It means we have kids! What a great privilege that God has given us to be a part of the life of a child! Cub Scouts and sports, homework and church, these are all opportunities that we have to engage in our children's lives to teach them about all the joys around them and all they have to be thankful for.

So, go give your kid a hug, help them with their homework and take them to Cub Scouts, or soccer, or whatever they have going on this week. And when you get there, take a moment to be thankful for the opportunity!
